josh [at] coolcorc [dot] com
An innate designer turned entrepreneur, Josh Wright is an accomplished young Architect who continually investigates solutions to ensure a better quality of life for people and for the Earth. His approach to design stems from his background in Architecture as well as from his lifestyle, having lived on a Tanton 43 – The Nineveh – for 5 years with his wife Jessica. The experiences Josh gained from living and traveling aboard the 275 square foot sailboat permeate his design approach for CoolCorC: create useful, superior products highlighting the world’s most renewable and versatile material: cork. Josh earned his Bachelor’s of Architecture in 2001 from the University of Tennessee and is also the President and owner of Architects Wright.

A trained Architect and accomplished fiber artist, Jessica Wright has been designing clothing and accessories for over 20 years. She and her husband, Josh, not only design for a living but they lived for design – having traveled and lived aboard a Tanton 43 they named The Nineveh for 5 years. Their first year aboard the 275 square foot sailboat coincided with Jessica’s Sustainable and Green Architecture series for her degree. Her experiences both in Architecture and on The Nineveh permeate her approach to green design: creating quality, timeless designs that reveal cork as a beautiful and versatile material. Jessica received her Masters of Architecture in 2006 and her Bachelors of Arts in Anthropology in 2002 both from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
